How does EbooSystem select the Spanish language schools?

No. EbooSystem guarantees the same prices as the Spanish schools. We generate our income with the Spanish schools but not through service charges with our customers.

Can Spanish courses on EbooSystem be cheaper than on school websites?

Yes! EbooSystem is designed as a "real-life" platform, where schools can update their profile every time with the most competitive prices according to seasons or the market situation or special offers.

I found out that a course on EbooSystem is more expensive than on the school website, why?

It can be the case that prices differ at first glance between EbooSystem and school websites. It happens when schools do not include the booking fee in course prices and only show the booking fee if the customer is in fact booking a Spanish course. The course prices plus the booking fee equals the price on EbooSystem.

Schools only demand a deposit, but EbooSystem demands the total sum, why?

This is mainly due to the fact hat schools only demand a deposit for the booked Spanish course and the total sum directly before the course starts. EbooSystem demands the total sum before to ensure that all customers have the same booking procedure and to secure your course and accommodation. That is the only way to guarantee your booking and to provide students who need a visa with a valid confirmation.

Are course books included in the course fees?

Not in any case. Most schools include course books in course fees, but some reserve the right to charge extra fees - usually the material for a four week course. You can find this information on the school description. A dictionary is in no case included.

Are there any booking fees?

No. EbooSystems booking service is free of charge. We do not charge you any booking or administration fees.

What happens after My Booking?

If you book a Spanish Course on EbooSystem, we immediately provide you with your login data for our system. Under "My Booking" you have access to the following information: your booking confirmation, bill and all information concerning your journey and course / accommodation such as what to do on your day of arrival, timetables, addresses, maps and contact details. If you have any additional questions you can contact EbooSystem or your Spanish school directly via our website.

How can I change My Booking?

You can change your Booking anytime under "My Booking". Please be aware of the following rearrangement fees: - If you change 21 days before your course begins, then 3% of the total amount of the bill will be deducted. - If you change 21 days before your course begins, then 7% of the total amount of the bill will be deducted. The rearrangement fees can be found immediately on you new bill under "My Booking".

How can I cancel My Booking?

You can cancel your Booking anytime under "My Booking". Please be aware of the following cancellation fees: - If you cancel 21 days before your course begins, then 5% of the total amount of the bill will be deducted. If you cancel between the 21st and 7th day before your course begins, then 10% of the total amount of the bill will be deducted. If you cancel less than 7 days before your course begins, then 15% of the total amount of the bill will be deducted. The Spanish Schools may change these terms and shall prevail over those of EbooSystem. In this case, it is specified in the Special Conditions of the Spanish School. In the case of cancellation we authorize a refund transfer within 24 hours with the same payment method you have chosen for your booking. The balance between total bill and cancellation fee will be refunded.

Is it possible to book a course under-aged?

Yes. The minimum age for most schools is 16. But be aware that most schools only accept under-age students if they choose a "guest family" as accommodation. When booking for an under-age student please provide us with an authorization of your parents/ tutors.

Spanish Course

Do courses take place on holidays?

Most schools do not have classes on holidays. Details about national and regional holidays for every school can be found in the school description.

How does EbooSystem rate the levels?

If the description matches your knowledge of the language, you need a Spanish course for the next level.

• A1. Basic I → deliver simple messages; give personal and work information, both oral and written.

• A2. Basic II → understanding and expression of simple information, both oral and written.

• B1. Intermediate I → domain of communication in the workplace.

• B2. Intermediate II → comprehension and expression of complex information in the workplace, presentations and meetings.

• C1. Advanced → native level in the workplace. Domain presentations, reports and detailed explanations.

• C2. Upper → level of native.

How long does it take to reach a specific level?

Of course this is hard to assess, it depends on the course you choose, the daily lessons and the motivation of the student.

After Booking

Can I book a health insurance for my stay?

Yes. Schools offer health insurance which you can book additionally under "My Booking". Charges are around 25 EUR per month. Students from Europe should bring the European health insurance certificate E-111 to cover potential treatments.

Can I book a transfer from the airport to the school?

Yes. Most schools offer transport services which you can book additionally under "My Booking". Charges are around 35 EUR depending on the distance between the airport and the school.

In Spain

How much pocket money does EbooSystem recommend?

Depending on accommodation and personal lifestyle, we recommend 30 to 40 EUR per week for a student that has booked accommodation with full board.

How much is a coffee or a dinner in Spain?

Prices can vary according to the city; Barcelona and Madrid are the most expensive cities in Spain. At an average, a coffee costs 1,20 EUR and dinner in a normal restaurant around 12 EUR.

Can I be expelled from school?

The schools reserve the right to dismiss any student in the event of misconduct, without refund of fees.

What happens if I arrive at school and decide to cancel my Spanish course?

EbooSystem gives no refunds on tuition or accommodation fees if the student has started his/ her course at school, since schools have to secure the course and accommodation. A cancellation is associated with significant expenses for schools, that is why there are no refunds in any circumstances after the course has started. Depending on free capacities you can make a rearrangement for your course and accommodation with the school.
