Melkart Spanish school is located in the Andalusian city of Cadiz on Costa de la Luz, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Melkart has acquired the denomination of “accredited center” by the Cervantes Institute. The Cervantes Institute is a Spanish public institution that recognizes the academic program, facilities and organization of private Spanish schools in Spain.

The academic program of school Melkart in Cadiz has been set based on a teaching methodology based on motivation, communication and practical experience. The aim of the teaching at Melkart school is that all students acquire the skills of speaking, understanding, reading and writing in Spanish. The development of this capacity and ability to communicate in Spanish depends of factors such as student's Spanish level upon arrival in Cadiz, the mother language and the intensity and duration of the course.

The participation in the leisure activities program allow students practice the Spanish learned in classes, know places of interest in Cadiz and its surroundings, as well as Spanish customs, traditions and culture. Leisure activities program take place after classes and during weekends. Students – from many different nationalities – interact with each other in Spanish, developing quick and effectively their communication and listening skills in Spanish.
